Adults
Do you find it difficult to concentrate? Do you have a hard time sleeping? Do you have trouble organizing yourself in your studies or at work? Do you feel constantly stressed, suffer from anxiety or panic attacks? Or have you already been diagnosed with ADHD or burnout?
It is often crucial to determine whether your symptoms meet the criteria for a disorder. A detailed diagnosis is usually necessary. This is because far more adults than is generally expected suffer from ADHD or an autism spectrum disorder. Both can be the cause of many of the symptoms mentioned at the beginning.
Sometimes you simply find yourself in a difficult situation in life and are looking for advice to find a way out.
I will help you classify your symptoms and activate your resources using diagnostic tools, coaching, neurofeedback training and relaxation techniques (e.g. autogenic training). This can often significantly reduce your suffering.

Evaluation & Testing
A detailed diagnostic procedure consists of three elements: questionnaires, a comprehensive anamnesis interview - ideally in the presence of a relative - and a so-called neuropsychological test battery. In the cognitive tests we identify your strengths and weaknesses. The latter can be the cause of your everyday problems and can be specifically improved in coaching.
Based on this clarification, it can be determined whether the criteria for a disorder are met. In the case of a diagnosis such as ADHD, I offer coaching and neurofeedback. If requested and in close consultation and cooperation with your family doctor, I will advise and support you with any necessary drug therapy. If psychotherapy seems sensible, I will be happy to refer you to suitable colleagues with appropriate specialist training.
Consultation
More and more adults expect themselves to be well organized, successful and resilient. If this is not the case, whether because the last performance review was anything but positive, there are increasing problems in the relationship or they do not feel comfortable in a new living environment, they often blame themselves. There seems to be no way out of the situation.
In such situations, counseling can help to find out what the causes are and what a solution might look like. Depending on the outcome of a counseling session, further steps may be necessary, such as discussions with relatives or a detailed evaluation.
The treatment of ADHD often involves medication therapy. Are you suffering from side effects or do you feel that the medication is not working sufficiently? Based on my many years of clinical experience, I can inform you about which drug alternatives there might be in a specific case. However, the decision to change medication is made explicitly and exclusively by your doctor. If you wish, I can accompany you in the process of starting on a medication or switching to a new one

ADHD-Coaching
Stress coaching
ADHD patients are not the only ones who often suffer from high levels of stress. This often leads to sleep disorders, increased irritability, severe inner restlessness, etc. It is impossible to "switch off", which leads to exhaustion and resignation and, not infrequently, to psychosomatic symptoms and illnesses such as stomach pain, headaches, migraines, heart disease, etc.
The WHO names stress as one of the greatest health risks of our time.
How a person reacts to stress varies from person to person. What stresses one person may not be the same for another. I will work with you to find the source of your stress and develop strategies to help you cope better.
During coaching, you will also learn methods for effective and sustainable stress management. These are primarily so-called "mental techniques" and relaxation methods. As a prospective teacher of autogenic training, I can teach you this method as a very successful relaxation technique. Stress coaching can also be combined with neurofeedback.
